Personal Strengths Assessment
Applying to premier medical schools, which by definition are selective and competitive, requires a team approach. If you apply solo, you don’t have the benefits of an expert’s advice. Let’s form a partnership. Every journey begins with the first step. As Socrates eloquently stated, “know thyself.” With this premise in mind, Physician Bound guides you on the path from self-discovery, self-reflection, self-assessment toward reaching your full potential. In other words, go from “the thought” to full execution of your goals. Academics aside, institutions want to know you on a deep and personal level, and whether you fit their culture and mission. Once this is accomplished, you’ll have the tools to present a truly compelling story, and “Wow” the admissions committee and program directors.
Only by asking the right questions will you find the right answers, and subsequently makie the right decisions. Furthermore, only after your Personal Strengths Assessment can you assess your readiness and competitiveness for the battle ahead.
Institution/Program Research Assistance
Earning an acceptance offer from your “best fit” program requires excelling in many areas. In regards to your secondary essays and short answers, carefully crafted narratives specific to that particular medical school is crucial. This entails thorough research and knowledge of the institution or program. It is all about fit. All programs and applicants are not the same. Therefore, you want to fit the program like feet in comfortable shoes. The program, similarly, wants you to match their mission, their values and their culture. A poor fit is bad for everyone. Without research into the institutions you apply to, your essays and interviews are average or perhaps even mediocre. Why risk it! You research your doctors, your vacations and your purchases! Doesn’t it seem prudent to research wisely and thoroughly the programs you apply to. If you are busy as I think, allow Physician Bound to complete some of the research on your behalf. It improves the chances your essays and interviews stand out!
Fee: $350 per school
You’re likely going to need guidance on how to interact optimally with medical school representatives, post-graduate program directors and letter of recommendation writers. There are winning techniques for creating and nurturing relationships that increases your odds of getting acceptance offers. Let Physician Bound show you!
